This bridge is usually bumper to bumper from 6:00 am until 9:00 am. Not today. This city is a ghost town.

I scared myself that I instantly recognized that bridge on the 99 in North Seattle. Wow. I haven’t been across it in 30 years.

It hasn’t changed much. It’s still crumbling away.

No kidding. My 60 minute commute was cut in half last night, and the 40 minute commute was cut by 15 minutes this morning.

Meanwhile in Atlanta, traffic is absolutely horrendous lately. However, people have decided that they should drive their classic cars one more time before the virus hits, so I’ve seen a ton of fantastic classics, including a Gladiator. Also two factory fresh Aerostars in the same junction for some reason.

I had to drive from Bellevue to UW area and back this morning. I think I barely even had to brake, it was a breeze.
Bellevue surface streets are the usual shitstorm, however.

Bothell to Westlake via 99 took 25 minutes. That's unheard of.

Downtown Bellevue to just south of Sand Point was just over 20 mins, I think (I sometimes speed a little). Return trip was similar. None of the usual congestion, just had to dodge a few usual slowpokes.

Tomorrow should be even lighter as Fridays are usually low traffic days

With any luck I will be among those not needing to drive tomorrow.
